At Tricity Pain Associates in Corpus Christi, TX, we complete the evaluation and pain mapping assessment at our facility in a spacious and private treatment room. At the beginning of your appointment, we will discuss your medical history and your symptoms to help us assess your condition. After performing a comprehensive evaluation, our physicians start the pain mapping part of your appointment. During pain mapping, we use state-of-the-art equipment that transmits a slight electrical pulse on your spine to identify the specific location of your pain. Once we have completed both the evaluation and pain mapping, we will consider the results and then make a treatment plan based on your concerns, symptoms, and test outcomes. How we tailor your treatment plan depends on your condition. Generally, we start with more conservative treatments that include physical therapy, PRP therapy, or nerve blocks.
